FAQs
Clear answers about FloorMate — the Neighbourhood Operating System for builder floors, building tools, and Nearby discovery.
Is FloorMate only for gated societies?
No. FloorMate is built for builder floors and nearby buildings — denser streets, mixed ownership, and neighbours who already help each other — not gated-society-only communities.
Who can use FloorMate?
Residents, flat heads, building admins, and neighbours looking to hire, rent, teach, learn, or offer local services. Roles control what you can manage versus what you can view.
What is the difference between a Flat Head and a Building Admin?
A Flat Head manages their own household and flat. A Building Admin handles building-wide settings, rates, levies, approvals, and collections. Flat heads are not building-wide finance admins.
Does FloorMate help with building expenses and maintenance?
Yes. Building tools cover expenses, maintenance requests, ledger records, channels, celebrations, and notices so residents can trust the numbers and the trail of work.
What can I find in Nearby?
Jobs, flats for rent, buy/sell posts, tuition and classes, and community updates from your building and nearby buildings — discovery that starts with neighbourhood trust.
